Too many Americans do not get enough vegetables into their diet. Make it a point to increase the amount of vegetables that you eat and you will begin to notice how much healthier you will become in your every day life.  If you do not like the flavor then add various herbs and spices.

There is so much debate on whole grains, but the bottom line is that you should make it a point to include them in your daily food intake program.  Always choose whole grain or whole wheat over your bleached counterparts.  They can do amazing things for your overall health.
